Pakistan and Kuwait are advancing efforts to expand bilateral trade, investment, and logistics cooperation, reinforcing supply chain connectivity between South Asia and the Gulf. The initiative was discussed during a high-level meeting between Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan and Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nasser Abdulrahman Jassim Al-Mutairi.
Senior officials, including representatives from commerce, industry, and the National Logistics Corporation, highlighted opportunities across food exports, mobile manufacturing, and cargo transport. Pakistan underscored plans to strengthen food export corridors to Gulf markets, supported by dedicated government committees and enhanced business-to-business engagement.
Logistics collaboration emerged as a key pillar, with both sides exploring improved cargo flows and transportation links to facilitate trade efficiency. Kuwait reaffirmed its interest in deeper cooperation across food, technology, and trade sectors. The engagement aligns with Pakistan’s broader strategy to integrate more closely with Gulf economies and unlock new regional supply chain opportunities.
