Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has strengthened logistics and supply chain connections with China through engagements in Suzhou and Shenzhen, focusing on industrial movement, cross-border trade flow and manufacturing-linked supply chains. The cooperation includes work with Chinese industrial zones and companies in sectors such as energy equipment, smart manufacturing and construction supply chains.

The focus is on improving how goods, components and materials move between China and the UAE, especially for industrial production and re-export through Ras Al Khaimah. This supports companies that depend on faster sourcing, assembly and distribution across multiple markets.

RAKEZ is also supporting supply chain integration through its industrial projects, including a China-linked industrial park in Ras Al Khaimah focused on manufacturing, recycling and refining activities. These projects are designed to bring production closer to regional markets and reduce long logistics cycles.

Around 400 Chinese companies already operate within RAKEZ in sectors linked to packaging, engineering, lighting and recycling, creating a wider industrial supply network in the zone.

Existing cooperation with industrial and trade bodies in China is also aimed at improving cargo movement efficiency, strengthening supplier links, and supporting companies that rely on steady import-export flows between Asia and the Gulf region through UAE logistics routes.

RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad said, “By engaging directly with associations, investors and businesses across key sectors, we are creating more pathways for Chinese enterprises to explore opportunities in the UAE and beyond.”
