Riyadh airport expansion to fortify cargo & logistics

With a focus on expanding the Kingdom’s cargo and logistics footprint, major development projects at King Khalid International Airport were reviewed by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, Deputy Emir of Riyadh, accompanied by Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services. This will reinforce Riyadh’s position as a global logistics hub. Al Jasser noted the expansion projects will enhance cargo and logistics ops expanding their economic impact and strengthening the capital’s role as an international center for transport, trade and tourism. “These programmes are integral to the aviation objectives under the ministry’s national strategy,” Al-Jasser added.
