Unifeeder Group expanded to Latin America by opening its first office in Panama City. This latest investment follows opening of new routes across Latin America, as the business seeks to unlock trade and boost economic growth in the region, Jesper Kristensen, Group CEO, Unifeeder Group and Group COO, Marine Services, DP World, commented. The new Panama team will support the Unifeeder businesses across Latin America in coordination with global HQ in Aarhus, Denmark. Unifeeder will handle 200,000 twenty-foot containers (TEUs) and complete 800 port calls in the region in 2024 and has plans to develop its operations further in the coming years. “Opening offices in markets, including Panama, and introducing new direct feeder services means not only offers enhanced logistics options to our customers, but also creates a positive impact on the local economy,” he said.
