Dubai’s highly anticipated 23rd Airport Show began on May 14, according to a statement. The three-day show brought together the industry’s aviation industry leaders, airport suppliers, service providers, and exhibitors from across the world to showcase the most recent innovations and technologies. This year’s theme is ‘Sustainability and Innovation’. Its co-located events include the ATC Forum, Airport Security Middle East, and the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum. Sheikh Aimen bin Ahmed Al Hosni, CEO, Oman Airports Management Company, announced a second runway that will open in the next two days in Oman. Speaking at the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum, Paul Griffiths, CEO, Dubai Airports, discussed the future of aviation industry. A session on the significance of ground handling was also conducted on the inaugural day.
