Abu Dhabi Customs ties-up with UK firm to drive logistics

Abu Dhabi Customs has inked a pact with Competere Group to advance trade facilitation and fortify competitiveness, said Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, DG, Abu Dhabi Customs. The pact aims to leverage tech and forward-looking economic models to enhance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in global trade and logistics.  “By working with global partners and the private sector, we aim to adopt global best practices and develop smarter, more competitive trade systems that strengthen supply chains and support economic growth locally and globally,” he said. .Shanker Singham, CEO, UK-based Competere Group, stressed the role of PPP in designing next-generation trade and regulatory frameworks. The pact was signed in the presence of UAE Ambassador to the UK, His Excellency Mansoor Abulhoul and Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman, Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.
