Abu Dhabi–USA partner up to boost logistics, industries

Abu Dhabi has strengthened its partnership with the US through a series of pacts designed to boost cooperation in logistics, manufacturing, technology, and financial services, said Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman, ADDED. He continued, “During a visit to New York, the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and entities from the public and private sectors signed deals with major American business and FIs. The pacts aim to accelerate trade, attract investments, and enhance supply chain connectivity through collaboration in key growth sectors, including digital infra, energy, and innovation.” Abu Dhabi’s non-oil trade with the US has grown by 28.4 per cent over the past five years. With total trade reaching US$ 34.4 billion in 2024, the UAE continues to be the largest US trading partner in the Middle East, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s role as a global logistics and investment hub, he added.
