AD Ports Group has moved over 54,000 TEUs, transported 22,000 containers by road, handled 18,000 TEUs via sea, and shipped more than 8,000 tonnes by air, as it expanded multimodal logistics across the UAE and the region.
Since late February, the group has relied on a mix of land, sea, air and rail to move cargo more efficiently. By spreading shipments across different modes, it has improved speed, reduced delays and ensured smoother cargo movement for businesses.
Feeder services have been expanded to connect the UAE with India, Pakistan, Oman and Red Sea markets, giving shippers more route options. At the same time, road and rail networks have been used more actively to move cargo inland, helping avoid bottlenecks and speed up last-mile delivery.
This approach is making supply chains more flexible and reliable. Companies can shift between transport modes based on urgency, cost and availability, which helps them plan better and avoid disruptions.
AD Ports has also added more warehousing space and introduced digital systems to track cargo in real time, improving visibility and coordination. The strategy highlights how multimodal logistics is helping improve efficiency and support steady trade flows across the region.
