The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Group and the Committee of SADC Stock Exchanges (CoSSE) have signed an MoU to explore connecting Southern African markets with the UAE’s Tabadul network, supporting stronger cross-border trading links between the Middle East and Southern Africa.

The partnership aims to improve access between markets and strengthen trade and investment links between the two regions. It will also support greater regional connectivity by creating opportunities for participating markets to connect through a common network.

Under the agreement, interested CoSSE member exchanges will explore joining Tabadul and strengthening connections with participating markets. The partnership also covers cooperation on market practices and cross-border connectivity.

“This partnership with ADX gives our member exchanges a valuable opportunity to explore the benefits of the Tabadul network, broaden investor access, and strengthen the trade and investment ties between Southern Africa and the UAE,” said Collen Tapfumaneyi, Chairperson, CoSSE.

The MoU supports closer economic links between the UAE and Southern Africa, with a focus on improving cross-border market connectivity and access.
