Air Astana, Etihad Airways ink pact to expand cargo services

Air Astana has entered into a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways, effective 26 November to foster cargo logistics and global connectivity, Zhanna Shayakhmetova, VP, Marketing & Sales, Air Astana, said. The airline’s commitment is to provide cargo and travel options with quality standards in all services. “This collaboration marks Air Astana’s eighth codeshare agreement, cementing its role in advancing international air travel and cargo logistics,” Shaykhtmetova said. The partnership also enables Air Astana passengers access to Etihad Airways’ extensive network via Abu Dhabi, linking Riyadh, Dammam, Bahrain, Mumbai, Cairo, Doha, Kuwait City, and Muscat.
