AJEX Logistics Services has launched ‘Life Sciences Express’, a new cold-chain linehaul network in Saudi Arabia to move temperature-sensitive healthcare and medical goods between Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. The service aims to improve the reliability of pharmaceutical and life sciences deliveries by offering scheduled transport and controlled handling conditions across major cities.

The network focuses on reducing delays and maintaining product quality during transport. This is important for hospitals, pharmacies and healthcare suppliers that depend on stable temperature conditions for medicines and other sensitive items.

The service runs daily scheduled routes and includes both first-mile and last-mile delivery support. It also uses vehicles that meet Saudi Food and Drug Authority and EU Good Distribution Practice standards, helping improve safety and compliance in medical logistics.

Two temperature ranges are offered, chilled (2–8°C) and ambient (15–25°C), depending on product needs. Shipments can be handled as parcels or pallets, and passive packaging like temperature-controlled boxes is also used.

Additional services such as tracking with data loggers, thermal wrapping, and dry ice handling are available on request. The network also allows customised transport to smaller cities, which can help improve access to medical supplies outside main hubs and strengthen cold-chain coverage across the country.
