AKI Logistics has signed a three-year agreement with NMC Group Services to manage warehousing and logistics operations for the healthcare provider across the UAE. The partnership will cover the storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical consumables, supporting deliveries to more than 80 NMC hospitals, clinics and medical facilities nationwide.
The logistics operations will be managed from AKI Logistics' facility in Dubai Investments Park. The agreement covers end-to-end supply chain services, including warehousing, inventory management and transportation of healthcare products to NMC locations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Al Ain.
The partnership comes as healthcare providers continue to strengthen supply chains to ensure the timely availability of medicines and medical supplies. Centralising logistics operations is expected to improve inventory management, reduce replenishment times and support more reliable deliveries across healthcare facilities.
The agreement also highlights the growing role of specialised logistics providers in the healthcare sector, where the safe and efficient movement of pharmaceuticals and medical consumables is critical. By using a dedicated logistics network, healthcare providers can improve stock availability while responding more quickly to changing demand.
The deal builds on AKI Logistics' expansion of its fulfilment capacity in the UAE, with the company continuing to increase its role in supporting healthcare and other essential industries through integrated logistics services.
