Al Futtaim, Ashok Leyland to boost Qatar logistics

Al-Futtaim has reached a partnership with Ashok Leyland to distribute the company’s full portfolio of trucks and buses in Qatar strengthening the country’s logistics sector, said Ramez Hamdan, Al-Futtaim Industrial Equipment. Through its subsidiary FAMCO Qatar — Al-Futtaim will introduce Ashok Leyland’s range of commercial vehicles. Built for demanding environments, the fleet offers fuel efficiency, durability and reduced operating costs — critical advantages for logistics operators. The pact was signed in Dubai positioning the two companies to play a key role in meeting Qatar’s growing mobility and infra demands. “The partnership underlines the group’s commitment to delivering mobility solutions that directly contribute to econ development.,” he noted.
