Aldar has acquired 182,500 square metres of high-quality warehousing and light industrial space at ALMARKAZ Industrial Park in Al Dhafra from Waha Capital for AED 530 million, informed Jassem Salah Busaibe, CEO, Aldar Investment. The near fully leased facilities, located within 6 million square metres SEZ, strengthen Aldar’s logistics footprint amid growing demand for modern warehouse space. The modular design offers flexibility for diverse tenant needs. The acquisition adds to Aldar’s expanding warehousing assets in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, including Abu Dhabi Business Hub and upcoming projects in Jebel Ali and Dubai South. “The acquisition is another step in Aldar’s ongoing expansion within the UAE’s logistics sector, aligning with our strategy to scale and diversify our recurring income streams,” said Busaibe.
