Alstom and SAR agree to develop KAS freight corridor

Alstom has signed a US$80 million agreement with SAR to improve the performance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s east-west freight corridor, Mohamed Khalil, Managing Director, Middle East, Alstom, said. Announced at the Saudi Rail Exhibition, the deal includes technical support, tailored to SAR’s needs. “This agreement is a testament to our shared vision with SAR for advancing the Kingdom’s transportation ecosystem in alignment with Vision 2030.”
