ASMO has partnered with Arcapita to build a 1.4 million square metre logistics facility at King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) in Saudi Arabia. The hub will include a 43,000 sqm temperature-controlled warehouse, 5,300 sqm of chemical storage, 3,000 sqm of offices and staff facilities, plus a 1.2 million sqm open yard. The facility is designed for large-scale industrial operations, featuring automated storage and retrieval systems, robotics, advanced warehouse management, digital integration, and sustainability measures including EV charging and LEED Gold readiness.

ASMO will develop, lease, and operate the facility under a 22-year occupational lease, while Arcapita will fund and retain ownership. Once operational, it will support Aramco, its affiliates, and other industrial clients, strengthening supply chain resilience in the Kingdom.

Salem Al Huraish, Chairman of ASMO, said, “This development reaffirms ASMO’s role in enabling resilient and future-ready supply chains. By investing in long-term infrastructure, we are supporting the Kingdom’s industrial ambitions and integrated logistics capabilities.”

Ideally located between Dammam Seaport, Aramco’s Abqaiq facilities, and Al Hasa, the SPARK site provides seamless connectivity across Saudi Arabia’s energy and industrial network and forms part of ASMO’s national logistics expansion aligned with Vision 2030.
