AviLease has placed an order for 10 A350Fs  during the Paris Air Show, marking a strategic step in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s aviation and logistics ambitions under Vision 2030, said Ted O’Byrne, CEO, AviLease. The deal is part of the company’s first direct agreement with Airbus and comes as the Kingdom looks to double its cargo and logistics infrastructure in the coming years. “There is a potential for growth in KSA market and aviation strategy calls for more than doubling cargo and logistics infrastructure in the Kingdom,” O’Byrne said. As global cargo fleets age and new models are sought amid trade uncertainties, the move signals KSA’s intent to become a regional powerhouse in air cargo.
