Bahrain’s Gateway Gulf 2026 announced investments, partnerships and deals worth $22.3 billion, with logistics, aviation and trade. The two-day forum, hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), concluded with more than 110 announcements, including over 75 agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs).

The announcements highlight Bahrain’s efforts to reinforce as trusted regional hub for trade, connectivity and investment. Four large-scale projects, valued at a combined $3.89 billion, were awarded the Kingdom’s Golden License. The forum also focused on opportunities across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), whose combined economy exceeds $2.38 trillion. Bahrain’s connected business ecosystem and non-oil sectors, which contribute around 86% of GDP, support its role as a gateway for companies seeking access to regional and international markets.
