Bahri starts project work on Jeddah logistics centre in KSA



National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) has laid the cornerstone for a new logistics centre at Jeddah Islamic Port. This facility, which will cover a total area of 95,436 sq. mts., will be managed by Bahri Logistics, Omar Hariri, President, Mawani said.


It will offer multiple storage options in temperature-controlled areas, handling services, and other value-added services to enhance logistics capabilities and supply chain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enabling MNCs to establish their logistics hubs in the Center.


Hariri and Engineer Ahmed Ali Al Subaey, CEO, Bahri, were present on the occasion. The Bahri Logistics Center is a key component in Mawani’s efforts to strengthen the logistics sector, in line with the National Transportation and Logistics Strategy (NTLS), Hariri said.


The Center will allow capitalising new opportunities, enriching the role of in elevating KSA as a global logistics hub, Al Subaey said.
