The Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) of Jordan is set to issue the first license for a drone operator, said Haitham Misto, Chairman, CARC. It has introduced new regulations governing drone operations, granting approvals for a range of commercial uses. Notably, the framework now allows licensed operators to deploy drones for small package deliveries, marking a step forward in integrating unmanned aerial systems into the country’s logistics sector. “The new drone regulations will allow drones to be operated for various purposes across different sectors,” he added.
