Riyadh Air and Air France-KLM have agreed to strengthen air cargo services and global connectivity, particularly between Riyadh, Paris and Amsterdam and the like, commented Tony Douglas, CEO, Riyadh Air. The agreement, announced at the 2025 IATA AGM, includes collaboration on cargo logistics, leveraging both carriers’ hubs to expand freight capacity and routes across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia. In addition to cargo, the partnership will explore joint initiatives in MRO, sustainability, and digital transformation. Subject to regulatory approvals, the alliance aims to streamline operations and unlock commercial opportunities across key global markets. “We are dedicated to linking Riyadh to the world and partnering with Air France-KLM to accelerate bringing to life our vision to deliver exceptional experiences. This partnership strengthens our global network and reinforces confidence in our growth trajectory and our role in supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s broader economic diversification goals under Vision 2030,” Douglas added.
