Clymet has expanded its pharmaceutical logistics operations in Dubai with a new office at the Dubai Flower Centre. The initiative aims at improving how medical shipments move through the UAE’s air cargo network. The move is part of efforts to speed up and tighten control over pharmaceutical logistics, especially the handling of medicines that require strict timing and temperature conditions.

Moreover, the location places the company closer to major cargo processing and clearance points, where most imported pharmaceuticals enter and move through the system. This is expected to reduce delays in pharmaceutical logistics linked to coordination between storage, customs clearance, and distribution.

Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) and Dubai Customs are key authorities in regulating and clearing pharmaceutical logistics shipments, playing a central role in ensuring compliance and safe movement of medical goods across borders.

Against this backdrop, Clymet also brought together Dubai Airports, Dubai Customs, EDE, and healthcare supply chain players to look at bottlenecks in pharmaceutical logistics. This expansion shows increasing pressure on pharmaceutical logistics systems in the UAE to manage large volumes of healthcare cargo.
