DHL Group plans to invest over €500 million in the Middle East by 2030, focusing on key Gulf markets such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, informed John Pearson, CEO, DHL Express. The initiative, aligned with DHL’s Strategy 2030, aims to boost infra, network capacity, and service quality across its four divisions—DHL Express, DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Supply Chain, and DHL eCommerce. “The GCC region is emerging as a global logistics and innovation hub. Our investment reflects the region’s increasing strategic importance in connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa. DHL Express is seeing growth and export potential in the region’s e-commerce sector, which is providing opportunities for entrepreneurs and smaller businesses to expand their offering to global markets,” he added.
