DHL has committed to the widespread integration of EVs across its cargo operations. With projections showing 25 per cent of all vehicles on the road will be electric by 2035, DHL is aligning its strategy with this global shift toward greener transport. From last-mile deliveries on electric bikes to using heavy-duty e-trucks on long-haul routes, DHL is investing in a range of EV solutions tailored to local and regional requirements. This transition is a part of DHL’s broader sustainability goal to achieve net-zero by 2050. The company is already deploying EVs in major logistics hubs worldwide and is working closely with manufacturers and governments to scale up infrastructure and support.
