DHL Supply Chain has announced a pact to acquire SDS Rx, a US-based provider of final-mile delivery and specialised healthcare transportation for long-term care, specialty pharmacies, radiopharmacies, and health system networks, Mark Kunar, CEO, DHL Supply Chain North America. The acquisition will fortify DHL’s Life Sciences and Healthcare capabilities under DHL Health Logistics, enhancing its ability to deliver integrated, time-critical solutions across the healthcare supply chain. “The increasing demand for specialty pharma and healthcare solutions presents opportunities for DHL to leverage its scale, expertise, and operational excellence,” added Drew Kronick, Founder, SDS Rx. SDS Rx operates from 200 US locations, providing specialised final-mile logistics and expanding DHL’s same-day and expedited delivery services for life sciences and healthcare customers.
