dnata secured significant deals worth over US$210 million with leading manufacturers for new Ground Support Equipment (GSE) under five-year global framework contracts at the Dubai Airport Show, Steve Allen, CEO, said. With plans to invest over US$100 million in GSE for its Dubai fleet, he expressed commitment to enhancing capabilities and adapting to industry needs through strategic investments, emphasising dnata’s focus on providing superior value and services. Understanding the importance of sustainability, dnata invests in a mix of equipment types, including biodiesel, electric, and hybrid, to maximize environmental and operational efficiency. dnata’s current fleet of 2,500 motorised GSE at Dubai International and Dubai World Central airports caters to over 190 airlines. In 2023-24, dnata’s customer-oriented teams handled 778,000 aircraft turns and moved 2.9 million tonnes of cargo.
