DP World and Lintara Properties have begun construction on a 20,000 sq m logistics centre in Jebel Ali Free Zone. The project is planned for completion in Q1 2027. The facility will add new storage capacity with temperature-controlled areas and space for dangerous goods.
Isa Al Khalifa, Managing Director of Lintara Properties, said the project reflects growing demand for modern logistics facilities in Jafza and supports long-term distribution needs for businesses operating in the region.
The development is expected to support faster and more efficient cargo handling in Dubai’s main trade hub. It will help companies store and move goods more easily, especially time-sensitive and specialised shipments. The added warehousing space is also expected to ease pressure on existing logistics facilities as demand continues to grow in the region.
The centre will be operated by DP World as part of its wider supply chain network, which connects storage, transport and distribution services. This integrated setup is aimed at reducing delays and improving cargo flow across regional and global routes.
