DP World expands warehousing in Saudi Arabia

DP World has opened its first multi-client third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse in Saudi Arabia, adding new warehousing and distribution capacity in Riyadh. Located in the Al Mashael Logistics Hub, the facility will support businesses across manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, automotive and industrial sectors. The warehouse offers more than 17,000 pallet positions, along with storage, inventory management and distribution services, helping companies move goods faster within the Kingdom.

The new facility strengthens Saudi Arabia's logistics infrastructure as demand for modern warehousing continues to grow under Vision 2030. By providing shared warehousing services, it allows companies to expand storage without investing in their own facilities, while improving inventory management and reducing delivery times.

Raveen Guliani, COO of Logistics at DP World GCC, said, “Saudi Arabia is among our fastest-growing logistics markets in the region and a key gateway for regional trade. As supply chains become more integrated across the Gulf, customers are looking for partners that can connect warehousing, transportation, ports and distribution through one integrated network."

The 15,250-square-metre warehouse operates as a non-bonded facility, allowing customs-cleared goods to move directly into the domestic market. It is located near major transport routes connecting Riyadh with other parts of Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region. The warehouse can also be adapted for temperature-controlled storage as customer demand grows.

The Riyadh site adds to DP World's existing logistics operations in Dammam and forms part of its wider expansion in Saudi Arabia. The company is also investing in the expansion of Jeddah South Container Terminal and developing the 415,000-square-metre Jeddah Logistics Park, strengthening links between ports, inland transport, warehousing and distribution across the Kingdom.
