DP World & Kenya’s e-citizen launch next-gen digital customs

DP World has signed an agreement with Kenya’s Electronic Citizen Solutions (e-citizen) to roll out its cutting-edge CARGOES Customs platform through the government’s flagship services portal. The partnership, formalised in Nairobi, will provide importers, exporters, and authorised customs agents access to one of the world’s most advanced customs declaration systems, aimed at transforming Kenya’s trade efficiency and security. “This marks a major step forward in making trade in Kenya faster and more secure,” said Mahmood AlBastaki, COO, Digital Trade Solutions, DP World.
