Dronamics inks LOI with EPG for cargo drone delivery


Emirates Post Group (EPG) and Dronamics have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for usage of cargo drones in the UAE. In this regard, EPG will explore and trial Dronamics’ cargo drones to enable same-day middle-mile and long-range deliveries. Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group Chief Executive, EPG said, “With a shared vision of reshaping the future of logistics, EPG and Dronamics will enhance cargo delivery speed, sustainability, and efficiency by deploying drone technology.” Both organizations will collaborate towards developing a cargo drone delivery network in the UAE and GCC. Svilen Rangelov, Co-founder and Chief Executive, Dronamics, said, “Partnering with EPG provides us with the opportunity to work on our expansion to the Middle East in general and the UAE in particular. In addition, EPG intends to be a launch partner of the future Dronamics UAE joint venture to support the expansion of their cargo drone operations in the region.
