Dubai Customs, logistics giants to boost Emirati workforce

Dubai Customs is moving ahead with the 2026 edition of the “Masar 33” initiative, working closely with major logistics companies to create more job opportunities for UAE nationals. The programme focuses on the private logistics sector and aims to connect national talent with leading global firms operating in the country.
The initiative brings together top logistics players such as Aramex, FedEx, UPS, CMA CGM, Maersk and DHL, demonstrating strong government-private sector cooperation to promote Emirati talent and build long-term opportunities in logistics.
Khamis Al Muhairi, Director of Human Resources at Dubai Customs, said the department values its partnerships with global logistics leaders. He noted that supporting Emirati talent in this vital sector remains a priority, and the goal is to offer quality roles that help build a skilled workforce for the future.
The initiative has already helped place national talent in specialised logistics roles. For 2026, the focus will be on expanding opportunities, aligning vacancies with market needs, and improving the overall experience for job seekers. The broader aim is to strengthen the labour market and support Dubai’s position as a global logistics hub.
