Marking a milestone in enhancing customs security, Dubai Customs unveiled its cutting-edge Advance Cargo Information (ACI) system. The system uses AI, blockchain, and ML to process cargo data before goods depart the country of origin, allowing for faster, accurate risk assessments, and reduced on-site inspections. His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman, Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council attended the event. His Highness directed Dubai Customs to strengthen the emirate’s integrated risk analysis framework through advanced digital technologies. The initiative, launched during GITEX Global 2025, aligns with Dubai’s vision of a smart, secure, and future-ready customs ecosystem, reinforcing the city’s status as a global leader in digital trade and logistics innovation.
