The Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) has signed a partnership with the German– Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce to accelerate cooperation in trade, logistics, freight, and e-commerce, said Amna Lootah, Director-General, Dubai Airport Freezone and Dubai CommerCity. The partnership “lays the foundation for a new phase of growth for German companies” in line with Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33, he said. Announced at Dubai CommerCity, the pact establishes a framework to support German firms expanding across Dubai’s integrated economic zones. Key initiatives include a “DAFZ–Germany Fast Lane” to streamline cargo and trade ops, and the creation of a “German Desk” to provide fast-track market entry and operational support. Dubai CommerCity will promote cross-border fulfilment and e-commerce growth by linking German brands with consumers in the Middle East.
