Dubai South Business Hub Free Zone has partnered with DHL Express to help businesses improve their export and cross-border trade capabilities. The partnership will provide training on international trade, customs, shipping documents and logistics planning, along with preferential DHL Express shipping rates for DSBH members.

Mahmoud Haj Hussein, Managing Director of DHL Express UAE, said SMEs are the backbone of the UAE's economy and play a vital role in driving innovation, employment, and international trade.

"Through our GoTrade program, DHL Express is committed to helping entrepreneurs build the knowledge and capabilities needed to navigate global markets with confidence. We are pleased to collaborate with Dubai South Business Hub Free Zone to support its growing community of entrepreneurs with practical training, trusted logistics solutions, and the tools they need to accelerate their international growth," he added.

The initiative will focus on helping small and medium-sized businesses prepare for international markets and manage the logistics involved in cross-border shipments. Better knowledge of customs and documentation can help businesses reduce delays and make international shipping easier.

Under DHL Express’ GoTrade programme, DSBH members will receive the “Trade and Grow Beyond Borders” curriculum. The training will be delivered by certified DHL facilitators and will cover export procedures, logistics planning and international trade practices.

The partnership links businesses at DSBH with logistics infrastructure around Dubai South, including Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, Etihad Rail and the UAE road network.
