Dubai South has signed an MoU with Emirates NBD to fast-track corporate banking access for logistics and SME companies, including quicker account opening and financial services. The move is aimed at improving efficiency for businesses operating in Dubai South’s aviation and logistics ecosystem linked to Al Maktoum International Airport.

“The bank is committed to delivering a truly seamless end-to-end banking experience that complements SMEs and other businesses operating out of Dubai South,” said Hamad Mohamed Zayed, Group Head of Business Banking at Emirates NBD.

The agreement is designed to reduce delays in financial onboarding, helping logistics companies manage trade flows, warehousing, and regional distribution more smoothly. Faster banking access is expected to support day-to-day supply chain operations and improve overall business agility in the free zone.

By simplifying banking processes, the partnership strengthens the logistics ecosystem by allowing companies to focus more on movement of goods rather than administrative procedures. This is expected to improve operational efficiency across import, export, and transit activities.
