DWTC Free Zone has partnered with DHL Express to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in expanding into international markets through logistics access and trade support. The initiative will help member companies improve their ability to scale globally and navigate cross-border trade.
More than 2,500 companies in the DWTC Free Zone are expected to benefit from the collaboration, which aims to reduce barriers to international expansion and improve readiness for global markets. The programme also includes logistics support and tools to help SMEs handle shipping and customs processes more efficiently.
Mahmoud Haj Hussain, Managing Director DHL Express UAE, said, “Through the DHL GoTrade programme, we are equipping entrepreneurs and SMEs with practical knowledge across key areas such as international shipping, customs, e-commerce, and cross-border operations, enabling them to build the confidence and capabilities needed to compete and grow internationally. Our collaboration with DWTC Free Zone reflects a shared commitment to creating an ecosystem where ambitious businesses are empowered to scale beyond borders.”
The partnership is designed to strengthen operational capacity for smaller firms and improve their access to global supply chains, which can support faster international growth. The collaboration also establishes ongoing knowledge-sharing between DWTC Free Zone and DHL, allowing further SME-focused initiatives to be developed over time.
