Emirates has launched its first service between Dubai and Helsinki, with Emirates SkyCargo offering up to 16 tonnes of bellyhold cargo capacity on each daily flight. The new route gives freight a direct link between the UAE and Finland.

The addition adds Helsinki to Emirates’ cargo network through Dubai, linking Finnish trade with markets across the Gulf and beyond.

The service is expected to support two-way trade and give businesses in both markets access to wider destinations through Dubai. Cargo flows could include pharmaceuticals, electronics, machinery, timber and perishables.

The route also gives Finnish exporters another connection into the Gulf, while UAE companies gain access to Finland through a direct air link. The UAE is Finland’s largest trading partner in the Gulf.
