With its new daily service to Shenzhen, Emirates has expanded its cargo capacity between the UAE and southern China, revealed Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates Airline. Operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, each flight offers 16 tonnes of cargo space, supporting Shenzhen’s advanced manufacturing, e-commerce, and biopharma sectors, through a 72-hour global supply chain system. The new route strengthens the ‘Aerial Silk Road’, enhances Emirates’ global cargo network and ensures swift movement of perishables and pharmaceuticals through its cold chain capabilities.
