Emirates SkyCargo is eyeing a fleet and network expansion, marking a new phase of growth for its global cargo ops. Nadeem Sultan, SVP, Freighters and Cargo Planning, announced the delivery of 10 new Boeing 777Fs over the next 12 months, alongside the addition of several wide-body passenger aircraft to boost belly-hold cargo capacity. The new expansion will enable the carrier to open new destinations and increase capacity on existing high-demand trade lanes. Sultan reaffirmed the carrier’s confidence in the long-term fundamentals of the sector. “While the industry is navigating short-term uncertainties, we remain committed to the growth and resilience of global trade,” he added. The expansion aligns with Emirates’ broader strategy to strengthen connectivity between key markets across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. Industry partners and customers seeking details on the upcoming destinations have been encouraged to connect with the Emirates SkyCargo team for more information.
