Emirates SkyCargo has transported 1.25 million tonnes of cargo in the first half of the 2025-26 reporting cycle, marking a 4% increase over the same period last year. The rise reflects steady global demand for air freight, even amid geopolitical uncertainties and economic fluctuations in some markets. His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, highlighted the company’s resilience and profitability during the half-year period. He noted that ongoing investments and innovation across Emirates and dnata have strengthened the group’s market position, allowing it to respond effectively to growing customer needs.

The Emirates Group continues to leverage investments in technology, infrastructure, and services to enhance efficiency and expand its offerings. New A350 aircraft joining the fleet are expected to further boost capacity, while dnata’s growing network and facilities support smoother cargo operations.

The airline is positioning itself to capitalise on continued growth through fleet expansion and service enhancements, ensuring it remains competitive in a fast-evolving global aviation market. With huge volumes of cargo and strategic investments, Emirates SkyCargo is reinforcing its role as a key player in international logistics and air freight.
