Emirates SkyCargo increases East & Southeast Asia network

Emirates SkyCargo now offers more than 21,000 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity in and out of East and Southeast Asia following the launch of daily passenger services to Hangzhou, China. Emirates SkyCargo serves 25 gateways across 12 countries and territories supported by nine dedicated freighter gateways with 44 weekly flights, 13 charter services and 311 weekly passenger flights. Commodities moved include perishables, pharmaceuticals, electronics, garments and over 1,300 tonnes of e-commerce each week. Hangzhou’s advanced logistics infrastructure strengthens Emirates’ role in global supply chains while partnerships like its tie-up with AirAsia’s Teleport expand access to 100+ Asian airports. Emirates SkyCargo’s latest investments in the region align with its 10-year growth strategy enhancing connectivity between Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. “East and Southeast Asia are not just anchors of our global network – they are shaping the future of global logistics, and global trade,” said Abdulla Alkhallafi, Vice President of Cargo Commercial, Far East and Australasia.
