Emrill, one of the UAE’s integrated facilities management providers, has opened a new warehouse in Ras Al Khor to improve material distribution and support sustainable operations in the emirate. While Emrill’s sole purpose remains to support service delivery across the UAE, the new warehouse is expected to improve response times and ease material distribution. The initiative is expected to reduce travel time by up to 12 minutes per trip on average across its Dubai operations. This will help in quickly moving materials to sites while also reducing fuel consumption and transportation costs.

Stuart Harrison, CEO of Emrill, said: "The new warehouse enhances the speed and efficiency with which materials are distributed across our client sites, while providing greater visibility, control and flexibility across our supply chain. These improvements support faster response times, more efficient service delivery and an enhanced experience for our clients."

The facility features a multi-tier mezzanine racking system to improve storage capacity, stock visibility and picking processes. It also includes controlled storage areas for materials such as chemicals, pesticides, paint and gas cylinders, supporting safer handling and compliance with local regulations. The warehouse is equipped with a solar tubular lighting system, helping reduce the use of electrical lighting during daylight hours and supporting energy-efficient operations.
