Etihad Cargo is boosting its services to North America with additional capacity to meet the increasing cargo demand between the East and the West. This expansion includes 30 weekly passenger flights to the USA and seven to Canada. The airline will provide an extra 250 tonnes of capacity per week to New York, Chicago, Washington, Boston, and Toronto. This increase, facilitated by network partners, ensures seamless connectivity. “Adding depth to the carrier’s USA network and introducing incremental capacity for the North American market demonstrates the importance of this market and Etihad Cargo’s commitment to meeting customers’ needs and supporting global trade,” Stanislaus Brun, Vice President, Etihad Cargo’s said. The flights will operate under Etihad Cargo’s SOP guaranteeing reliable services. This move is part of Etihad Cargo’s strategy to enhance its global network. “Etihad Cargo recognises the vital role that air freight plays in connecting economies,” he added.
