Etihad Rail signs pacts with Uganda, Kenya to boost logistics

Etihad Rail has signed agreements with Uganda and Kenya to enhance logistics and rail transport systems, His Excellency Shadi Malak, CEO, Etihad Rail, said. The agreement with Uganda focuses on upgrading the country’s railway network and improving cross-border trade, while the Kenyan partnership aims to support railway renewal through technical cooperation. “We are honoured to partner with the governments of Uganda and Kenya to support their bold vision for railway development. Together, we will explore opportunities that deliver lasting value, enhance regional connectivity, and strengthen trade corridors, contributing to a more prosperous future for the region,” His Excellency Shadi Malak added.
