FedEx has launched its first dedicated freighter into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, linking the Kingdom with the US and Europe. Operating six times a week, the B777 freighter connects Riyadh to the Americas, Europe and onward to Asia, while facilitating distribution across Northern Gulf markets. The dedicated flight enables Saudi businesses, including SMEs, to access express and economy shipping solutions for time-sensitive goods, oversized cargo and specialised cargo such as healthcare, energy and automotive. “FedEx investment in its flight operations to the Kingdom reflects the commitment of global partners in helping to increase the competitiveness of our aviation sector,” Awad Al-Sulami, General Authority of Civil Aviation’s VP, Economic Regulations and Cargo.
