FedEx Logistics and FedEx Express will launch the new FedEx Less-than-Container Load Priority service, offering a customs-cleared port-to-door and door-to-door solution, Edward Hui, VP, Asia, Middle East, and Africa at FedEx Logistics, said. The new service connects APAC with the Middle East markets through an integrated ocean and road network. GCC trade with Asia is expected to grow to US$578 billion by 2030, with Gulf economies looking to boost ties with the world’s fastest-growing region. The LCL Priority service is designed to support the increasing importance of the trade ties between the two regions. “The priority service is not just a logistics solution; it redefines trade between APAC and the Middle East. Ocean trade in this context is important as it is a vital artery for the flow of goods across continents,” he added.
