Egypt-based Fincart has received $2.8 million in funding from Yango Ventures and other investors to expand its platform that helps e-commerce companies manage shipping and delivery operations. The company plans to strengthen its shipping network, develop its technology and expand into new markets across MENA and Africa.
Fincart’s platform enables online merchants to manage logistics operations, including shipment processing, delivery tracking and cash reconciliation, through a single system. The company connects merchants with more than 40 shipping providers, helping businesses improve delivery management and handle growing e-commerce volumes.
The investment comes as e-commerce companies across emerging markets look for solutions to simplify last-mile delivery and improve supply chain visibility. Digital logistics platforms are helping small and medium-sized merchants manage multiple delivery networks and reduce operational challenges.
“Yango’s partnership marks a defining chapter for Fincart, combining their unmatched operational depth across Africa with our vision to become the operating backbone of e-commerce for merchants across the continent. With their support, we’re not just expanding into new markets; we’re building the infrastructure to power the next growth phase of e-commerce SMBs in emerging markets,” said Mostafa Masry, co-founder and CEO of Fincart.
Founded in Egypt, Fincart began as a service connecting e-commerce sellers with last-mile delivery providers before expanding into an integrated operations platform. It currently serves more than 450 merchants and enterprise clients, supporting deliveries of products worth nearly EGP 1 billion (around $20 million).
Yango Ventures’ investment will support Fincart’s product development, team growth and commercial partnerships as the company prepares for further expansion in 2027.
