Etihad Cargo plans to expand its FlyCulture product to meet the specialist logistics requirements of Abu Dhabi’s growing cultural sector, including museums, galleries, auction houses and collectors.

“Our focus is on developing FlyCulture alongside the needs of museums, galleries, auction houses, collectors and specialist freight forwarders, while leveraging Etihad’s global network to connect Abu Dhabi with major cultural markets worldwide,” said Grant Kemp, Regional General Manager Central Region, Cargo, Etihad Cargo, in an interview with CargoTalk.

FlyCulture offers dedicated handling, controlled-temperature storage, priority processes and specialist expertise for transporting art and heritage shipments. The service also uses dedicated unit load devices (ULDs), CCTV-monitored facilities and SmartTrack for shipment visibility. Kemp said the airline would continue evolving its capabilities as new cultural institutions and exhibitions emerge.
