flynas signed an agreement with VCM that aims to establish cooperative initiatives in adopting sustainability, including participation in the carbon credit trading platform by VCM to be launched in November 2024. “flynas is moving towards launching a voluntary carbon offset programme on its domestic and international flights. The partnership with the Regional Voluntary Carbon Market Company will constitute a qualitative addition to flynas’ sustainability programme and ensure its initiatives align with national objectives to reduce CO2 emissions and fulfil the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitments to the climate agreement,” Waleed Ahmed, Director, Corporate Communications, flynas, said.
