Global Medical Supply Chain (GMSC) has opened a new 2,500 sqm warehouse in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi. With this addition, its total warehouse space has increased from 2,266 sqm to 4,766 sqm. The company has also raised its pallet capacity from 2,000 to 6,500. The cold chain area has expanded from 20 sqm to 100 sqm, allowing more storage for temperature-sensitive medicines and medical products.

Hamad Husein Al Marzooqi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Bio said, “This expansion increases logistics capacity and scalability, supporting national drug security and enabling the efficient, reliable delivery of critical medicines and medical products across the country.”

The expansion improves how medical supplies are stored and moved across the UAE. It supports faster handling of medicines, especially those that need controlled temperatures. This helps reduce the risk of delays or shortages in hospitals and clinics. It also improves the ability to manage rising demand from both public and private healthcare providers.

GMSC operates under Mubadala Bio’s Pharma Logistics division and provides end-to-end supply chain services, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution of medical products. The company supports around 200 healthcare facilities and works with nearly 400 suppliers, managing more than 10,000 product types. The new facility is expected to strengthen the UAE’s healthcare supply chain and improve the availability and reliability of essential medicines across the country.
